Ben was many things...
Son, brother, husband, father, friend.
Ben was loved
And he loved so many others.Â
His mother, brother and father were always present in his stories, weekends and thoughts. He had a gang of friends who adored him and he loved fiercely back. He loved his son Dante and wife Zephyr deeply and if you knew him in his life, he probably had some love for you too.
Ben had many talents
Laughs that could transport you. Big ones, small ones, silly ones, hehehe ones. He loved plants. He could think about land and how to best make it come to life. He loved motorcycles, backpacking, holding babies, finding the answer to complex problems and making his mom smile.
He loved the outdoors
Backpacking with his brother, motorcycle trips with his best friend Craig, family hikes in National Parks and solo trips on the Pacific crest trail. Skiing, snowshoeing, hiking the boy scout club property adjacent to his own. He loved to play in the dirt and get his hands dirty. He loved to share the natural world with his friends and family.
